Hello Spring!

BY ELENA ROSSEEL

The blossoms are out, the days are getting longer, and spring has arrived. After a rainy winter spent indoors, now is the perfect time to refresh your daily routines, enjoy the sunshine, and give your health a little extra attention. Spring is all about renewal and that includes your body, mind, and lifestyle.

Tips for a Healthy Spring Reset

Move More in the Sunshine – The warmer weather is a great excuse to head outside. Try adding a daily walk, some stretches in the park, or even a gentle jog along the beach. Not only will you boost your fitness, but sunlight also helps increase vitamin D levels and improve mood.

Spring Clean Your Diet – Just as we clear out our homes during spring, it’s a great time to refresh what’s on our plates. Focus on colourful, seasonal produce such as leafy greens, berries, asparagus, and fresh herbs. These foods are packed with vitamins and minerals that help support digestion, energy, and immunity.

Stay Hydrated – As temperatures rise, it’s easy to forget water when we’re busy. Aim for at least 6–8 glasses a day. If plain water feels a little boring, try adding slices of lemon, cucumber, or berries for a refreshing twist. Herbal teas are also a lovely, nourishing option.

Stretch & Strengthen – If winter left you feeling stiff or sluggish, spring is a great time to build more movement into your week. Yoga, Pilates, and bodyweight exercises can all help improve posture and flexibility, making everyday movement feel easier.

Prioritise Your Spinal Health – When we’re active outdoors, gardening, or even just tackling more spring cleaning, it’s easy to strain the body without noticing. Regular chiropractic care helps keep your spine aligned, improves mobility, and allows your nervous system to function at its best. Think of it as a seasonal tune-up for your body!

Healthy Habit of the Month: Refreshing Green Smoothie
